Priestley College is an "outstanding" provider for 16-19 education in Warrington. The College offer students a range of courses at Advanced, Intermediate and Foundation levels. The results achieved by students in the summer with 99.7% pass rate at GCE A level and 96% on advanced vocational courses were a testament to the excellent educational opportunities available on the Loushers Lane site. The College campus has recently gone through a radical transformation with £7 million invested in a new build and redevelopment project. The first phase saw the refurbishment of the existing main building, greatly improving access for the disabled and also work on the college grounds and on the entrance to the site. Work then began on the second phase, which saw a new building come into existence for teaching and learning. The Crescent Building houses a large student services area and a high street standard food court as well as 22 teaching spaces. The latest addition to the campus came in the shape of the high profile Performing Arts and Media centre with its industry standard facilities and equipment. The recent changes have reinforced the reputation of Priestley for being able to offer world class teaching in world class buildings and follows on from an "outstanding" OFSTED inspection report and the awarding of Beacon status.
